Paris Saint-Germain F.C. soccer player Lee Kang In and former APRIL member Lee Naeun, as well as Ulsan Hyundai player Seol Young and another APRIL member Yena, had already ended their relationships before the dating rumors surfaced.
According to SPOTVNEWS on January 5th, both couples, Lee Kang In-Lee Naeun and Seol Young Woo-Yena, had parted ways before their relationships became public knowledge.
“Lee Kang In and Lee Naeun found themselves amidst dating rumors on the 2nd when an outlet released photos of their dates from last November. However, it has come to light that they had already parted ways before the report hit the headlines. In a similar vein, Seol Young Woo and Yena had quietly ended their relationship well before any speculations began.
Despite their breakups, Lee Kang In and Lee Naeun faced public scrutiny when photos of them together, including those at Lee Naeun’s apartment in Guri and a hotel parking lot, began circulating. While Lee Kang In remained silent on the matter, Lee Naeun, through her agency, dismissed the rumors, stating they were simply “acquaintances.”
Past incidents, like their matching items and Seol Young Woo engraving “YENA” on his sneakers, later fueled dating speculations for the two, leading to unwarranted attention from fans and media.
Yena’s agency STAR BASE Management Group initially stated they were “checking” on the matter. However, they later commented, “We thank you for the great interest in Yena,” adding, “It’s challenging to confirm details as it involves her personal life. We apologize for not being able to provide more detailed information.” Seol Young Woo’s side has not made any official statement regarding the matter.
