Amidst swirling dating rumors involving Lee Naeun and South Korean soccer team player Lee Kang In, her agency has released an official statement.
On the 2nd, Lee Naeun’s agency, Namoo Actors, informed Ten Asia, “(Lee Naeun and Lee Kang In) are just acquaintances.” The agency clarified that the two are not romantically involved but are simply good friends.
In an earlier report by The Fact, significant attention was drawn to Lee Naeun’s alleged dates with Lee Kang In. Citing the initial scoop by The Fact, it was reported that following a tip-off about the soccer player’s dating life, their investigative team delved into the matter last year, uncovering details about the globally renowned soccer star and the idol-turned-actress’s relationship. According to The Fact, the duo’s outings mainly occurred near Lee Naeun’s vehicle while visiting the soccer team’s lodging and in the area of their personal residences.
As per The Fact’s findings, Lee Naeun is said to have visited the underground parking lot of a Yeouido hotel, where the national soccer team resided on November 14th and 15th last year. These visits were in conjunction with the 2026 FIFA World Cup Asian Qualifiers – 2nd Round match, where she reportedly enjoyed car dates with Lee Kang In. Following the matches, The Fact notes that they spent time near Lee Naeun’s apartment in Guri City, Gyeonggi Province.
Meanwhile, Lee Naeun is set to appear in the upcoming SBS new Friday-Saturday drama FlexxCop, which airs its first episode on the 26th. In this omnibus-style drama, she plays the role of a celebrity in episodes 9 and 10.
