Lee Jong Suk is reportedly considering a comeback with a new drama tentatively titled My Relationship That I Also Oppose (literal title) after a two-year hiatus.
The drama falls within the romance genre, exploring the question of whether reigniting a first love will lead to the continuation of a familiar relationship or the beginning of something entirely new. The series is helmed by director Lee Eung Bok, known for Descendants of the Sun and Sweet Home. Choi Hyun Wook was initially in talks for the lead role, but he had to withdraw from the project due to scheduling conflicts.
If confirmed, Lee Jong Suk may take on the leading role of Kim Tae Kyung. Described as somewhat instinctive and impulsive, yet righteous and warmhearted, the character finds himself rekindling his feelings for daycare teacher Hong Je Bi ten years after their initial breakup.
Go Min Si is in talks to portray Hong Je Bi, a daycare teacher characterized by her tendency to take action first and think about the consequences later. Despite knowing what might be best for her, she chooses to remain with Tae Kyung.
