Following the photoshoot, an insightful interview was conducted. When asked about the characteristics of their roles in My Demon, Kim Yoo Jung expressed her deep connection with her character, Do Do Hee. “Do Do Hee has many different aspects compared to the characters I’ve played before, both in personality and background. Instead of forcing something new, I tried to move freely within the character. She’s incredibly true to her emotions, which allows for a broad spectrum of expression,” she shared.
Song Kang, playing demon Goo Won, reflected on the challenges of his character. “When I first read the script, I thought it had strong comedic elements. But when I actually started acting, I found many challenges, including the character’s overconfident manner of speaking. Goo Won has a really strong sense of self-love,” he revealed.
Then how would they feel if they actually got an offer from a demon? Song Kang shared his simple joys, “I’m someone who finds happiness in small things, so I don’t think I’d accept any offers. Waking up in the morning, going to the gym, taking a half-bath, and reading a book—I find happiness in these things.”
Meanwhile, Kim Yoo Jung opened up about her recent interests, “I’ve been really into neuroscience lately, watching related videos a lot. I’m also reading books that scientifically explain the brain and genetics.”
This engaging conversation with the stars of My Demon offers a glimpse into their dedication to their roles and their everyday lives, heightening expectations for the upcoming series.
