The drama concludes with Lee Jang Hyun (Namkoong Min) and Yoo Gil Chae (Ahn Eun Jin) finally reuniting, as he regains his memory and the two share a hug.
Namkoong Min shared, “Working with an amazing cast and crew for such a great project was very meaningful and gratifying. I hope viewers enjoyed watching our drama.”
Ahn Eun Jin added, “I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the viewers who have shown support and love for Lee Jang Hyun and Yoo Gil Chae throughout the show. It was a blessing to work with good people, and I learned a lot during filming. Thank you, Namkoong Min, for leading the show. I’d also like to share my gratitude with the director and writer who cast me in this great role, and all the cast members who have worked with me. My Dearest will be one of the memorable projects in my acting career.”
Lee Hak Joo also expressed his gratitude, saying, “I sincerely thank everyone who watched My Dearest all this time. Despite going through the storms of the times, Yeon Jun’s steadfast and unwavering journey seemed courageous and, at the same time, poignant. For these reasons, My Dearest became a piece of work that made me think a lot about ‘how to live in this world.’ It was also my first historical drama as an actor, and with the director, writer, and many staff members, we were able to complete it smoothly through careful consideration. I really want to express my sincere gratitude and say that it was the best production ever. I don’t know when I’ll shoot my next project, but I ask for your support as always, and I hope you have a warm end to the year.”
Lastly, Lee Da In stated, “It was a great honor to be able to share this long journey together. My Dearest will remain a very meaningful work for me. During the nearly one-year period, spending all four seasons together, I felt a lot of affection from everyone. It’s bittersweet to say goodbye to the colleagues and Eun Ae. I sincerely thank all the viewers who loved our drama project.”
