Oh Jung Se‘s van collided with a tractor, resulting in the tragic death of one middle aged man and leaving his wife with severe injuries in a heartbreaking incident.
According to the police report, the accident occurred on the 18th of this month at 6:58 PM in South Chungcheong Province. Oh Jung Se’s van struck the tractor traveling ahead on the second road of Buri Province.
Inside the tractor were a couple in their 60s. Unfortunately, the husband did not survive the accident, while his wife sustained severe injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital.
Oh Jung Se and the van’s driver, identified as his manager, were also in the van at the time of the collision and suffered minor injuries. Both received medical attention at a nearby hospital. Oh Jung Se has since been discharged.
The manager initial statement to the police indicated that the tractor suddenly appeared in their path. The police are currently conducting an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of the accident.
Shortly after the incident, Oh Jung Se’s talent agency, Prain Global, issued a statement, saying, “The manager was questioned by the police at the station, and they reviewed the black box footage after the accident. Oh Jung Se also went through tests as a passenger and then headed home. We deeply apologize to the family of the deceased and to everyone for causing concern with this unfortunate news.”
