Taiwanese actor Greg Hsu is set to star in an upcoming Korean drama series titled No Way Out (literal title).
No Way Out is a mystery-thriller drama that kicks off with the release of a notorious criminal from prison. With a 200 billion won bounty placed on their head, it leads to a deadly showdown between those trying to kill and those trying to survive.
This upcoming show marks the directorial debut of Choi Kook Hee, known for his previous work on projects like Default and Life Is Beautiful. The star-studded cast includes Lee Sun Kyun, Yoo Jae Myung, Kim Moo Yeol and Lee Kwang Soo. Greg Hsu will join the series as “Mr. Smile,” a killer who comes to Korea upon request to take the case in the country.
The Taiwanese actor emerged as the “icon of first love” with his breakout role in Someday or One Day. As the only non-Korean actor invited to the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards this year, he revealed his special affection for Korean projects and actors.
