Cha Eun Woo and Lee Hyun Woo promise some primo bromance in the new MBC Wednesday drama, A Good Day to Be a Dog.

On the 22nd, A Good Day to Be a Dog released some tantalizing stills showcasing the chemistry between Cha Eun Woo (playing Jin Seo Won) and Lee Hyun Woo (playing Lee Bo Gyeom).

Based on the webtoon of the same name, the show spins a fantasy romance tale between a woman cursed to turn into a dog whenever she kisses and the one guy who can break the curse.

Cha Eun Woo is taking the lead role of Jin Seo Won, a character who is afraid of dogs due to childhood trauma. Meanwhile, Lee Hyun Woo plays Lee Bo Gyeom, a high school Korean history teacher who also happens to be a mountain deity. Seo Won is all chic and aloof—a real icy heartthrob. On the flip side, Bo Gyeom is a tender-hearted charmer who’s especially good at caring for his own people. These two are chalk and cheese when it comes to personality, and that’s why you can look forward to their “guy chemistry.”

The released stills capture the duo who are also co-workers. They’re teasing each other in the school cafeteria and also sharing some cheerful moments on a camping trip together. But this isn’t all there is to these two. Lurking between them is a mysterious backstory that involves their past lives. How will this friendship unfold against the backdrop of their shared history and school life?

Meanwhile, A Good Day to Be a Dog will premiere on the 11th of next month at 9 PM KST, with the first week featuring back-to-back episodes.
