Will we get to see Go Youn Jung and Kim Seon Ho on the same project?
On the 21st, Go Youn Jung’s agency stated, “She has received an offer for Can You Translate This Love? and is positively reviewing it.”
Can You Translate This Love? is an upcoming drama that delves into the quirky romance between a man whose job is translating languages and a woman who expresses love in a completely opposite manner. Hijinks ensue as misunderstandings lead them to a deeper connection.
Kim Seon Ho is in the spotlight as the potential male lead, as his agency previously confirmed. Initially, Han So Hee was tapped as the leading lady but has since opted for another project, making room for Go Youn Jung.
The drama’s script comes from the renowned Hong Sisters (Hong Jung Eun, Hong Mi Ran), known for hits like Hotel del Luna and Alchemy of Souls. Directing duties fall to Bloody Heart director Yoo Young Eun. After casting wraps up, filming is set to kick off in the first half of next year.
If Go Youn Jung confirms her participation, she’ll continue her jam-packed schedule. She recently flexed her acting chops in the Disney Plus series Moving, which premiered last August. She is also set to appear in the upcoming fantasy drama Death’s Game, launching this December. On top of that, Go Youn Jung has signed on for the lead role in the Hospital Playlist spin-off Someday Hospital Playlist (literal title), where she’ll play a first-year OB-GYN resident.
