Shin Mina and Kim Young Dae will star in a new rom-com drama series titled Because I Want No Loss (literal title).
Because I Want No Loss is an office romantic comedy that revolves around a married couple, Son Hae Young and Kim Ji Wook, who enter into a fake marriage for their own reasons.
Shin Mina takes on the role of Son Hae Young, a woman who hates to take any loss in any situation, no matter when or where. Since childhood, she had to share her mother’s love with others and has always calculated her gains and losses even in her romantic relationships. She decides to arrange a fake wedding when she faces the risk of missing a promotion at work.
Kim Young Dae stars as Kim Ji Wook, a nightshift worker at a convenience store who is known for being a righteous man in the neighborhood. Ji Wook is a skilled and diligent part-timer who cannot turn his back on those in need of help. His life takes a new turn as he agrees to play the fake husband of Son Hye Young as another part-time job.
Director Kim Jung Sik of Work Later, Drink Now helms the series and writer Kim Hye Young of Her Private Life pens the script.
The production team said, “Because I Want No Loss is a romantic comedy series that viewers can enjoy lightheartedly. It’s a drama that won’t disappoint because it includes a compelling and realistic set of stories.”
Because I Want No Loss will drop on TVING and tvN in 2024.
