BIGBANG’s G-Dragon’s contract with YG Entertainment has officially come to an end.
On May 15th, the company’s March report released the list of its key artists and actors’ names.
However, G-Dragon’s name was not included on the list. As the only BIGBANG member under the company, he had previously announced his plans to release a new album earlier this year. Consequently, fans are speculating that he has parted ways with YG.
Addressing the rumors, the label responded, “Our exclusive contract with G-Dragon has now expired. We are currently in discussions regarding separate contracts for other activities, including endorsements. Further contracts will be negotiated if he decides to resume his music activities.”
