C.A.P also addressed the issue on his Instagram, announcing his departure from the group. He wrote, “First of all, I would like to apologize to those who were hurt by my choice of words and behavior. Although I knew it could generate controversy, I acted recklessly and without thinking.” He further expressed his remorse, acknowledging the disappointment of fans who had trusted and supported him, as well as the members whom he considered family. “For a long time, I felt like I was wearing clothes that didn’t fit me. I tried to take them off by committing inappropriate actions that I knew I would deeply regret,” he explained.

C.A.P concluded, “I sincerely hope that no further harm comes to the members and the dedicated staff at the company who have been working hard for Teen Top’s comeback. Once again, I deeply apologize. Thank you for your love and support for Teen Top and for me, C.A.P.”

Meanwhile, Teen Top is scheduled to make their comeback in July.
