Won Bin built a two-story house in Jeongseon, Gangwon-do, specifically for his parents. This beautiful home was recognized for its architectural excellence and even won the Grand Prize at the 2008 Korean Architecture Culture Awards.
Next up is Jo In Sung. The actor reportedly bought not one but two high-end residences from Company L for his mother and sibling. In addition, he secured a comfortable life for his family on Jeju Island by purchasing a second home worth 1.5 billion won (approximately $1.3 million) in 2018.
BIGBANG’s G-Dragon spent nearly 1 billion won (approximately $850,000) to build a luxury pension in Pocheon, Gyeonggi-do, as a gift for his father. The lakeside property was designed by G-Dragon himself, who personally commissioned its construction. The interior is also said to be heavily influenced by his unique taste and style.
SHINee’s Taemin bought a high-end villa in Cheongdam-dong for his mother. He shared his happiness about being able to provide for his mother, saying, “I’m happy to be able to buy a house, car, and even bags for my mom.”
After her debut, Song Hye Kyo gifted her mother with an exclusive single-family home that spans an impressive 140 pyeong (approx. 4,660 square feet). At the time of purchase, it was known as one of the most expensive homes in South Korea, generating much buzz.
In early 2022, Han So Hee purchased a luxury villa in Guri, Gyeonggi-do. This villa is also known as the newlywed home of Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin. Han So Hee notably bought the 1.95 billion won (approximately $1.7 million) villa entirely in cash, without any loans. Fans speculated that she bought the house to live with her grandmother, who had raised her. Regarding this, her agency declined to comment, stating it was part of the “actor’s private life.”
