‘BLACKPINK: The Game’ to arrive in the second quarter of this year
TakeOne Company announced on April 4th that they will be releasing BLACKPINK: The Game, the first official game of YG Entertainment’s girl group BLACKPINK, in the global market during the second quarter of this year.
The game, originally known as BPTG when it was unveiled in March at BLACKPINK’s Malaysia world tour concert, allows users to become producers of the group in a multi-verse world where they can train the members.
The game BLACKPINK: The Game offers several exciting features, including a unique puzzle challenge that utilizes a variety of photo cards, a simulation that allows users to manage the YG headquarters, and the amazing BLACKPINK World, where players can communicate with fans from around the globe using avatars customized to their personal style. Moreover, the game features exclusive, high-quality photos and videos of the group that have been shot exclusively for the game.
TakeOne has been developing the game for three years, with a focus on delivering high-quality gameplay and a wealth of content that can be enjoyed not only by fans but also by those who are not familiar with the group.
BLACKPINK is highly likely to renew their contract with YG Entertainment
In other news, according to a source on April 4th, BLACKPINK members, who are four months away from the end of their contract with YG Entertainment, have expressed their intention to renew their contracts with the label. This decision is thought to be influenced by the success of their world tour, where they performed in front of 1.5 million fans worldwide.
BLACKPINK recently completed 14 North American shows in seven cities and 10 European shows in seven cities last year and are currently performing for fans in Asia.
They are set to headline at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in the United States in April and the Hyde Park British Summer Time Festival in the UK in July.
