IU and Park Seo Joon shared their experience working together for the new film Dream at a press event.
Park Seo Joon said, “I started filming Dream after Itaewon Class. I had gone through many things before deciding to hop on the new project. It feels very new seeing myself on screen three years ago. I am both excited and worried about meeting viewers in the theater. I have mixed feelings.”
He added, “I’ve always been a big fan of IU. It was very exciting to think about working together with her. The characters we play in the show have lots of bickering moments. So I found myself wanting more of those bickering scenes as the filming was nearly over. It was nice working with her, and I felt disappointed towards the end of the filming.”
IU also revealed that she was thrilled to see him on set. She explained why she accepted the role, saying, “I used to do many dramas with deep stories. I was looking for something different this time, and that was when I got the offer for the role. So I happily accepted it.”
The singer praised her co-star by stating, “I was really impressed with Seo Joon’s ability to effortlessly respond to the director’s requests and perfectly capture the desired tone or emotion. As I watched him work up close, I found myself feeling both envious and inspired by his talent as an actor. I learned so much from him and feel grateful for the opportunity to have worked alongside such a skilled and dedicated performer.”
