On March 6th, SBS uploaded a video titled “2023 SBS Showcase New Lineup” on their official YouTube channel, SBSMNC. The video showcased scenes from various 2023 SBS dramas, with The Devil catching the attention of viewers the most.
The Devil is an occult mystery thriller about a woman possessed by demons and a man who can see them. The story unfolds as they uncover mysterious deaths surrounding sacred objects.
In the drama’s trailer, Kim Tae Ri creates an eerie atmosphere with her performance, showcasing various facial expressions that included a creepy smile. Later in the trailer, her character becomes embroiled in a series of mysterious deaths, adding to the tension of the plot.
Adding to the suspense, Oh Jung Se delivers a chilling line in the trailer, telling Kim Tae Ri’s character, “You are possessed by demons. Take a mirror and look carefully. You will see what you haven’t seen before,” all while eerie background music plays in the background.
