ZICO will be launching his boy group in the first half of this year.
The singer’s label KOZ Entertainment announced on Tuesday, “We are getting ready for their debut in the first half of this year. The exact date for their debut will be disclosed once it is confirmed.”
During the “2022 HYBE Briefing with the Community” held last November, ZICO expressed his confidence in the group, stating, “I can’t talk about the specific concept now, but they’ll be a team that listeners and fandom can all enjoy.”
Insiders have already raised their expectations for ZICO’s first group, as the boys are rumored to have excellent skills and handsome looks.
ZICO made his debut as a member of Block B in 2014 and acted as the group’s main producer. After leaving Block B, he expanded his territory as a solo artist and producer, releasing hits such as “Any Song” and “New Thing.” ZICO is credited with pioneering the dance challenge culture in the K-pop industry with “Any Song” in 2021.
