BLACKPINK’s Ji Soo has made history by becoming the first South Korean star to grace the cover of Vogue France, causing a frenzy in the overseas fashion industry. Her immense star power was on full display as the Vogue France website crashed due to the large number of fans attempting to view the new cover.
The March issue features Ji Soo wearing a black Dior dress with long straight hair, and the fashion magazine describes her as someone “more than a global music star” and a “new-generation pop culture icon who is daring, vibrant, and delicate yet never fragile.”
Vogue France Editor-in-chief Eugenie Trochu shared a screenshot of the crashed website on her Instagram Stories, stating that it was down because a lot of people were trying to buy the Ji Soo Vogue France cover and emphasizing her power.
Ji Soo has also made headlines after her black flared mini-dress from Dior sold out worldwide, despite its steep price of $5,200.
