KBS will temporarily stop airing Wednesday-Thursday dramas.

According to OSEN’s report on January 6th, Kim Dong Wook and Jin Ki Joo’s new KBS drama Run Into You will air on Mondays and Tuesdays instead of Wednesdays and Thursdays. It is set to premiere in May this year.

Previously, the drama was set to air on Wednesdays and Thursdays. However, the schedule has been put off after KBS decided to stop airing dramas on Wednesdays and Thursdays temporarily. Run into You will be slated as a Monday-Tuesday drama following the conclusion of Oasis, starring Jang Dong Yoon and Seol In Ah.

The re-run of The King’s Affection is currently being aired on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The show first premiered in 2021 and received the Best Telenovela at the International Emmy Award. To celebrate their win at the award ceremony, KBS decided to broadcast the show on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9:50 PM KST again.

Officials from the network shared, “Although we are considering premiering Run Into You in May, nothing has been confirmed yet.”

Run Into You follows Yoon Hae Jun (played by Kim Dong Wook), who wants to find out the truth behind a serial murder case, and Baek Yoon Young (Jin Ki Joo), who wants to stop her mother from marrying his father, as they travel back in time to achieve their goals which are somehow linked to each other.
