The eleventh episode of Reborn Rich became the most-watched drama of this year, recording an average nationwide viewership rating of 21.1 percent. It also marked the third-highest viewership achieved by a JTBC drama to date.
Episodes 10 and 11 reveal the true colors of the Sunyang family members as the shaky succession plans fall apart. Jin Do Joon (played by Song Joong Ki) brings down Jin Hwa Young (Kim Shin Rok) and Jin Dong Ki (Jo Han Chul) to gain Jin Yang Cheol’s (Lee Sung Min) trust, who already has Do Jin in mind for his successor.
However, the ambitious man and his grandfather get into a car accident and are immediately taken to the hospital. Evidence found at the scene suggests that the accident was fabricated on-site. Jin Yang Cheol pretends to be in a comma as he thinks there is a culprit among the siblings, while Jin Do Joon secretly starts to track down the culprit.
Do Joon later finds out that those involved in the incident were rewarded with an antique piece of artwork, which was part of Mo Hyun Min’s (Park Ji Hyun) art collection. Jin Do Joon comes to the conclusion that Jin Sung Joon (Kim Nam Hee) is behind the car accident. Learning the shocking truths, Jin Yang Cheol shows symptoms of delirium and trembles in fear, not recognizing his own grandson.
Meanwhile, all Sunyang family members are preparing for the upcoming board meeting. All eyes are on how their plan will stop Jin Do Joon from becoming the next heir of the group.
