Disney Plus will be dropping The First Responders this month, starring Kim Rae Won, Son Ho Jun, and Gong Seung Yeon.
The series tells the story of the joint response from the police, firefighters, paramedics and their fierce teamwork to save people in critical moments. Helmed by Shin Kyung Soo behind The Nokdu Flower and Six Flying Dragons and Partners for Justice screenwriter Min Ji Eun, the upcoming series will depict the fierce battle and humane story of the individuals who first respond to emergency calls.
Kim Rae Won will play Jin Ho Gae, the passionate and fiery detective with excellent insights into the field and the psychology of culprits. Son Ho Jun will star as firefighter Bong Do Jin. He doesn’t hesitate to jump into the flames as he is always determined to extinguish any hazard. Gong Seung Yeon will take on the role of Song Sul, a warm-hearted paramedic committed to treating the smallest wounds and scars of others.
Meanwhile, the series will be the first South Korean TV show that tells a story about first responders who are among the first to arrive and provide assistance at the scene of an emergency or an accident. The First Responders will air every Friday and Saturday from November 12th.
