The production team of the web drama A Shoulder to Cry On released an official statement regarding the OMEGA X, who received concerns for the abuse they were getting from their label CEO.
“We are releasing an official statement in relation to the recent OMEGA X case as we have received concerns whether the production of A Shoulder to Cry On will be affected,” the production company wrote.
Based on the webtoon, A Shoulder to Cry On tells a heart-fluttering love story of two boys, a loner on an archery scholarship and a social butterfly with a secret. It was originally set to premiere in November.
Adding that they wish for an amicable settlement for OMEGA X, the group that Jaehan and Yechan belong to, the company stated, “We hope that this issue will not cause any more problems with the schedule for A Shoulder to Cry On.”
“Jaechan and Yechan always gave off energy with their bright and lively attitude on the set despite their busy schedule,” they continued. “The crew expresses great regret and sympathy for the recent situation with OMEGA X, and if they were in any way mistreated, we sincerely support and pray for improvement.”
Recently, a clip that showed some members of OMEGA X being physically and verbally abused by the company’s CEO while they were on tour in the States went viral.
