Lee Young Ae stepped up to help the father who lost her daughter, Park Juliana, to the Itaewon crowd surge that occurred on October 29th.
The father wanted to transport his late daughter’s body to her home country Russia, but he was unable to afford the transportation cost. The cost includes $3,166 for embalming, $3,166 for boat fare, and $352 for an ambulance to transport the body to the Donghae Port.

The Russian embassy also stepped up to help them. They decided to pay the transportation cost for the citizens who are financially struggling to cover the cost of repatriation, streamline the process of issuing the necessary documents, and negotiate the whole cost with the transportation company.
