Fans have raised suspicion that ASTRO’s Rocky wrote his solo song with his alleged girlfriend, actress Park Bo Yeon, and even got her to narrate in the song.
On the 31st, rumors of Rocky and Park Bo Yeon’s dating surfaced on online communities. The post shared the same picture of the sky that they posted on Instagram and ASTRO’s Japan official fanclub, alleging that the two are in a relationship.
Then the post went on to introduce Rocky’s solo song “S#1” in the album Drive to the Starry Road. The song is introduced in the album – “It’s a song that melted a movie into a song. The elements of a movie like a dramatic development and twist, the sound of a projector, conversation-like lyrics, and narration are its distinct features.” And underneath the introduction, the name “Seori” is credited as a lyricist alongside Rocky. And this “Seori” has the same copyright identification code as Park Bo Yeon.
Then about three minutes into “S#1,” a narration in a woman’s voice flows out, suspected to be Park Bo Yeon’s voice. One fan commented in the post that Rocky got all flustered when he was asked if she was the narrator in his song and eventually said yes. Moreover, she was said to be spotted in ASTRO’s concerts and musicals that Rocky starred in at least three times.
However, Park Bo Yeon’s agency Management Koo responded, “Rocky and Park Bo Yeon are just good friends.” They further explained, “He was working on the album when they appeared in FIND ME IF YOU CAN together, and she has always liked writing things down, so that’s why she joined the project.”
Meanwhile, Park Bo Yeon is an actress currently appearing in the drama Cheer Up.
Astro’s agency Fantagio confirmed their romantic relationship by saying, “Rocky and Park Bo Yeon are seeing each other with good feelings.”
