The eighth episode of tvN’s Love in Contract had Choi Sang Eun (played by Park Min Young) and Jung Ji Ho (Ko Kyung Pyo) being more honest about their feelings for each other.
The episode begins with Sang Eun deliberately asking Ji Ho if he remembers what happened last night. He replies that all he can remember is that she tried to kiss him. Although he pretended to be okay while saying so, it was revealed that he had been practicing all night to act cool around her.
Jung Ji Ho is then spotted enjoying a golfing date with Choi Sang Eun and pretending to be her longtime friend on her request as he slowly realizes his feelings for her.
After the fun night out with Ji Ho, Sang Eun finds Kang Hae Jin (Kim Jae Young) collapsed in a hotel parking lot. She decides to stay with him for the night to take care of him. And while doing so, she advises him, “You need to let go of the past and live in the present moment.” Hae Jin replies, “Really? I should live in the present moment? Will you accept me if I come to you?”
Meanwhile, the tension rises toward the end as Jung Ji Ho goes straight to the hotel where Sang Eun and Hae Jin are staying. Sang Eun, who went out to the lobby to meet Ji Ho, unexpectedly encounters Hae Jin looking for her and lawyer Jung Ji Eun (Lee Joo Bin) looking for Hae Jin. There, Hae Jin introduced Sang Eun as his fiancé to Jin Eun as Ji Ho entered the lobby. Right then, Ji Eun points to Ji Ho with a shocking statement, “I’m married to that person.”
