Jung Woo Sung and Shin Hyun Bin will tell a heartwarming love story.
On Thursday, media outlets reported that Jung Woo Sung and Shin Hyun Bin were cast in the new drama Tell Me You Love Me (working title). Both actors’ agencies confirmed their appearances in the drama.
Tell Me You Love Me is a healing romance drama about Cha Jin Woo, a hearing-impaired person who expresses his emotions through drawing instead of words, and Jung Mo Eun, who expresses her feelings through her voice. Jung Woo Sung plays Cha Jin Woo, who feels free in the silent world and is easygoing despite the prejudice against him. Shin Hyun Bin steps into the role of Jung Mo Eun, who proudly fulfills her dreams and love.
The responses are explosive. This marks Jung Woo Sung’s return to the small screen ten years after the 2011 series Padam Padam. In 2020, the actor replaced Bae Sung Woo in Delayed Justice after the actor stepped down near the end of the drama, but this is his first official comeback in ten years.
Meanwhile, Tell Me You Love Me is the Korean remake of the Japanese drama Aishiteiru to Itte Kure (Tell Me That You Love Me). It comes from Our Beloved Summer helmer Kim Yun Jin and Love in the Moonlight writer Kim Min Jung. The show will finalize its cast and start shooting later this year.
