Jung Ji So will play young Song Hye Kyo in the new much-anticipated Netflix series The Glory.
On the 29th, SPOTVNEWS reported that Parasite actress Jung Ji So joined the production of The Glory to play young Moon Dong Eun (played by Song Hye Kyo).
The Glory tells the story of a woman who was shattered into pieces due to the violence she endured as a child. Because of it, she spends her whole life meticulously plotting her revenge. The series follows the many characters that got dragged into the vortex of her revenge.
The show comes from one of the biggest writers in Korea who produced multiple global-hit dramas like Secret Garden, A Gentleman’s Dignity, The Heirs, Descendants of the Sun, Goblin, and The King: Eternal Monarch. Her partner is Ahn Gil Ho, the helmer of Records of Youth, Memories of the Alhambra, and Stranger.
Moreover, The Glory boasts a stellar cast – Song Hye Kyo, Lee Do Hyun, Lim Ji Yeon, Park Sung Hoon, and more.
Meanwhile, Jung Ji So, a former figure skater, made her debut in the 2012 series May Queen and made a big breakthrough when she appeared in the award-winning movie Parasite. Recently, she became a hot topic with her impressive singing prowess as a member of Hangout with You‘s project girl group WSG Wannabe.
