Junsu, aka XIA, quickly dismissed the dating rumors with former Lovelyz member Kei.
On the 19th, Junsu took to his Instagram Story to address the dating rumors that had hit the wire earlier in the day. “Living as a celebrity, there have been times when absurd or unfair reports (about me) came out, but this has risen to the top of the list of the most absurd articles,” he wrote.
Junsu and Kei are managed by the same agency PALMTREE ISLAND. This label, founded by Junsu, recently took Kei under its wings after Lovelyz disbanded.
Junsu continued, “We were both K-pop idols and I only got to know her through the agency, so I’m still very careful around her and we still use honorifics. And thanks to this, we’re going to be even more awkward around each other. I apologize to Kei’s fans for making them come across this absurd article so early in the morning, and I wanted to tell my fans that you need not worry.”
Earlier today, a media outlet reported that Junsu and Kei became romantically involved after appearing in musicals Artus-Excalibur and Death Note together.
However, just an hour after the report came out, PALMTREE ISLAND denied the rumors, saying, “The rumors are not true at all.” They added, “The two are just the head of the agency and an artist and colleagues of the same industry.”
