Girl’s Generation will make their much-anticipated comeback on August 6th with their seventh studio album Forever 1.
On August 4th at midnight, SM Entertainment released a preview for Girl’s Generation’s “Forever 1.” The video begins with Tae Yeon walking onto the stage and each member making their appearances in different settings. The preview had “Into The New World’ playing in verse and members singing the lyrics, ‘Let’s be together forever,’ included in the new song.
The title track, “Forever 1,” is a dance-pop song with an upbeat melody about the everlasting love for people we care for.
The album includes “Lucky Like That” and “You Better Run.” “Lucky Like That” is a pop song with upbeat guitar sounds and drum beats. Its lyrics talk about how a miraculous reunion can happen if one makes a wish. “You Better Run” is an electronic pop song with powerful vocals and pitch-perfect harmonies. The song talks about their journey after their 2010 release “Run Devil Run” and sings how a woman exacts revenge on a man who cheated on her.
Girl’s Generation’s seventh full-length album Forever 1 will drop on various music sites tomorrow at 6 PM.
