Netflix recently confirmed a new natural disaster movie, The Great Flood (literal title), starring Kim Da Mi and Park Hae Soo.

The Great Flood is a sci-fi disaster blockbuster film that depicts the struggle of people attempting to save humanity while trapped in an apartment submerged in water after a great flood. The film is produced and written by The Terror Live and Take Point director Kim Byung Woo.

Kim Da Mi, who starred in Itaewon Class and Our Beloved Summer, will play Anna, the AI development researcher who struggles to survive a massive tsunami. As the actress has pulled off versatile characters in many different projects, anticipation is growing about how she will depict the complex emotions she will experience during the struggles she will face amid the chaotic disaster.

Park Hae Soo from Squid Game and Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area will take on the role of Hee Jo, who works in the Human Resources Security Team. As he does everything it takes to rescue Anna from the great flood that threatens the entire planet, the film will further raise the curiosity of the viewers to find out the reason behind his mission.
