TWICE’s Nayeon posed for the pink-themed pictorial for Dazed Korea.
Nayeon released her 1st mini-album IM NAYEON and the title song “POP!” on June 24th, becoming the first TWICE member to make her solo debut. The smash ranked 7th on Billboard 200, setting the first and the highest record among all K-pop solo artists.
After the photoshoot, Nayeon revealed the passion she had for her solo promotion. “The thing I like the most is dancing and singing,” she shared. “So I thought it’d be sad if I couldn’t enjoy the time I spent preparing for the solo album because of the pressure. So I tried to have as much fun as possible and enjoy every moment as I prepared (the album).”
She continued, “Since I’ve worked hard on it, I’m really proud that I’m getting good results. In particular, I thought a lot about TWICE members, fans, and friends who liked and supported my album. Thank you so much.”
Meanwhile, TWICE has joined the August comeback lineup (August 26th) with their new mini-album BETWEEN 1&2.
