Alienoid unveiled the 12 new still photos that give a glimpse into a worldview and story that you have never seen before.
Alienoid Part One follows a group of Taoists from the Goryeo dynasty who mistakenly open a time portal in search of a legendary sword. The portal connects them to humans from 2022, who are tasked with finding an extraterrestrial prisoner locked in a human body.
The released photos capture not only the unique storytelling that goes back and forth between Goryeo and modern times but also the colorful characters completed by A-list stars. First, Mureuk (Ryu Jun Yeol), a clumsy swordsman trying to acquire the legendary sword, catches the eye with his jokester-like expressions.
Then there is Guard (Kim Woo Bin), who manages and escorts alien prisoners. The photos that show him working on a mission raise curiosity. Additionally, you can see the charisma of Yi An (Kim Tae Ri), a mysterious woman who shoots thunder. The photos herald an unpredictable development that will unfold over the legendary sword that everyone is after, including Yi An.
Moreover, the terror on detective Moon Do Seok’s (So Ji Sub) face raises a question – why are the aliens chasing him? The photos of Heungseol (Yum Jung Ah) and Cheongwoon (Jo Woo Jin), the goddess and god of Samgak Mountain, raise expectations for their delightful ensemble. Lastly, Jajang (Kim Eui Sung), a masked man who also wants the legendary sword, gives off a chilling vibe, raising tension.
Meanwhile, the new SF fantasy movie Alienoid will hit the screen on July 20th.
