On June 16th, Charlie Puth officially confirmed his long-teased collaboration with Jungkook via his TikTok. In the video, Charlie Puth called up the idol to ask him to sing snippets of their new collaboration song “Left and Right” which will be featured on his upcoming album Charlie.
At the end of the video, the completed version of the part Jungkook sang, to which Charlie reacted “This is going to be crazy.” The American singer wrote in the caption, “If we get 500,000 pre-saves, I’ll drop it on June 24th.”

Charlie Puth and Jungkook previously collaborated for a special performance at the MBC Plus X Genie Music Awards in Korea back in 2018. Then at the 64th Grammy Awards, the BTS member chose Charlie Puth as the singer he wanted to collaborate with.
Meanwhile, BTS announced that they’re going on an indefinite hiatus to focus on their solo works on the 14th. Starting with J-Hope performing at the LOLLAPALOOZA as the headliner and Jungkook’s collaboration, the boys are announcing their solo projects, heightening expectations.
