The Korean Film Council reported on June 3rd that the new movie has ranked first at the daily box office, attracting 153,384 spectators on June 2nd. The movie has so far racked up a total of 7.63 million viewers. Although Jurassic World Dominion knocked the flick from the top of the box office charts on June 1st, Roundup quickly regained its top spot a day later.
The mega-hit movie is continuing its reign atop the domestic weekend box office on its third week of release. Reports say that it will most likely become the first movie to cross 10 million spectators since the pandemic began in 2020.
Meanwhile, Jurassic World Dominion shattered every opening day record in box office history as it opened with 760,000 moviegoers rushing to the theaters. The movie counted the highest number of audiences since the pandemic began. However, it only saw 106,310 viewers on its second day of release.
