Café Minamdang heralded the heart-fluttering chemistry of Seo In Guk, Oh Yeon Seo, and Kwon Soo Hyun.
KBS’s new Monday-Tuesday series Café Minamdang is based on the novel of the same name that garnered 150,000 readers on KakaoPage. The plot follows a mystery play unfolded by criminal profiler-turned-shaman Han Jun and his colleagues.
Seo In Guk plays Nam Han Jun, a criminal profiler-turned-shaman, and presents an unprecedented character who has a way with words, flashy styles, and sly charms. Oh Yeon Seo takes on the role of Han Jae Hee, a detective with killer investigation skills and immense power. Lastly, Kwon Soo Hyun plays Cha Do Won, a prosecutor who has it all.
The released stills give a glimpse into the tension between rivals Nam Han Jun and Han Jae Hee. What kind of turbulence will the two, who got off to a bad start because of a shocking incident in the past, go through together?
On the other hand, Cha Don Won, who plays everything by the book, will get entangled with Nam Han Jun, who is exactly the opposite of him, and Han Jae Hee, whom he finds interesting. Curiosity and desire to win are what drive Cha Do Won. So what kind of synergy will he create with fortune-telling cafe Minamdang and the detective team?
The production team shared, “Seo In Guk, Oh Yeon Seo, and Kwon Soo Hyun will provide unique fun with their ‘roller coaster-like’ chemistry that goes back and forth between romance and rivalry. Please look forward to their story that combines laughter, excitement, and thrill.”
