A controversy has sparked as one of ENHYPEN’s bodyguards was seen violently pushing away the fans gathered to see the boys at the airport.
The short clip taken at Incheon International Airport on the 16th has surfaced a controversy. The members of ENHYPEN arrived at the terminal after wrapping up their overseas promotion, and fans flocked over to take pictures of them.
But in the process of stopping them, the bodyguard’s “excessive” reactions became a problem. He used heavy force to push off the women getting in the way, and the safety of the girls pushed outside of the screen is yet to be confirmed.
Soon after the clip was released, people started criticizing ENHYPEN’s staff. Even the international K-pop fans are pointing out the “over-the-line” security, mainly on Twitter. One commented, “This isn’t the first time that K-pop stars’ bodyguards were seen pushing away the fans because they invaded the stars’ personal space. Such an attitude shouldn’t be excused.”
The violent reaction of K-pop stars’ bodyguards first came to the surface in May of 2018 when NCT 127’s bodyguard assaulted a reporter.
