Urban Myths, a movie that garnered quite an attention for starring some big-name K-pop idols, had its first screening and press conference on April 18th.

Director Hong Won Ki said, “The movie tells a collection of horror stories that we may have heard or experienced in our everyday lives. This movie is done in a 10-part omnibus form as there were many genres in horror which I found interesting.”

Regarding MONSTA X’s Shownu, who enlisted shortly after the film’s wrap, the director shared: “He had a very little experience in acting so, we put a lot of thought into his role together at the table read. As I saw him settling gradually into his role, I thought he could become a good actor in the near future.”
