‘Twenty-Five Twenty-One’ Actor Choi Min Yeong Confirmed to Star in Netflix’s ‘To All The Boys’ Spin-off Series

Twenty-Five Twenty-One star Choi Min Yeong joined the cast of To All The Boys spin-off.

Netflix has added nine new cast members to XO, Kitty, a spin-off series to To All the Boys. Choi Min Yeong, Anthony Keyvan, Gia Kim, Sang Heon Lee, Peter Thurnwald and Regan Aliyah will be joining the cast as series regulars. They will star alongside Anna Cathcart, who will be playing the title role. The series is helmed by co-showrunners and executive producer Jenny Han and Sascha Rothchild.

In the series, teen matchmaker Kitty Song Covey (played by Anna Cathcart) believes she knows everything there is to know about love. But when she moves halfway around the world to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend, she quickly finds that relationships are a lot more complicated when it’s your own heart at stake.

Choi Min Yeong will play Dae, Keyva takes on Q, Kim will portray Yuri, Lee will play Min Ho, Thurnwald joins the cast as Alex, and Aliyah portrays Juliana. Yun Jin Kim, Michael K. Lee, and Jocelyn Shelfo have also joined the cast as recurring characters. They will play Jina, Professor Lee, and Madison, respectively.

In addition to the casting announcements, Netflix announced that filming on XO, Kitty has begun in Seoul with Jennifer Arnold, Jeff Chan, Pamela Romanowsky, and Katina Medina Mora scheduled to direct this season.

Han executive produces alongside Rothchild and ACE Entertainment’s Matt Kaplan. The series is presented by Awesomeness Studios and ACE Entertainment.
