Lee Seung Gi revealed that he had considered getting a nose job for many years.

On the latest broadcast of Circle House, Lee Seung Gi opened up about his self-esteem struggles and how he once considered getting a rhinoplasty.

On the show, Oh Eun Young, Lee Seung Gi, Noh Hong Chul and Lee Jung all talked about their self-esteem issues and how they eventually became satisfied with how they look. Han Ga In admitted that she was often told that she was pretty while growing up but surprised everyone by saying that she had once considered getting a facial bone contouring surgery. She said, “I don’t think I’m ugly, but I’m not that satisfied with how I look.”

Lee Seung Gi chimed in, “I know what that feels like.” He said that he would often look into the mirror and think, “I need a nose job. I just think that it would magically improve my acting.” He then explained how much he was obsessed with the thought, saying that he was “literally inseparable from the mirror while having that thought.” He even shocked the guests by saying that he had actually made an appointment with the surgeon.

Hearing the story, Oh Eun Young asked him if the actor had paid the reservation deposit for the surgery. He reluctantly answered, “I did actually pay the fee to fix the date, and I didn’t even give my agency a heads up.” He added, “I wanted to do it as discreetly as possible since the doctor said that it’s just a simple and quick procedure.” He said that he was pretty firm on the idea of getting it but soon changed his mind after giving it some thought. He shared, “I put a lot of thought into it and decided not to get it because I realized that I have never made my living off of how I look. I thought that I might as well just work out more.”
