BTS will attend the Grammy Awards as a performer for the third year in a row.
According to the Recording Academy, BTS was among the list of performers for the 64th Grammy Awards. Besides this global boy group, the list includes Brothers Osborne, Brandi Carlile, Billie Eilish, Lil Nas X with Jack Harlow, Olivia Rodrigo, and more.
On top of that, BTS won the nomination for the BEST POP DUO/GROUP PERFORMANCE category with “Butter.” Just last year, the act set a new milestone in the history of K-pop when they performed solo for the event.
Meanwhile, BTS successfully hosted their long-awaited offline/online concert “BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – SEOUL.” During those three days (10th, 12th, 13th), the boys met with about 45,000 ARMYs around the world.
The show recorded a maximum of 108.415 billion KRW (about $87.51 million) in concert ticket sales alone, which includes both on-site viewing, live viewing, and online live streaming. This certainly is an impressive record made with just a three-day concert. The estimated profits will only increase if you count the sales of BTS merchandise.
