Rising star Kim Hye Yoon will make a shocking transformation in the movie The Girl on a Bulldozer. In this movie, in which she plays her first lead role in a feature film, she will give birth to an unprecedented character of Hye Young, a girl with a dragon tattoo that drives a bulldozer.

Kim Hye Yoon rose to fame in the 2018 drama SKY Castle, and with this role that she landed after beating out the other 200 hopefuls, she won the Baeksang Arts Awards for Best New Actress in the TV Category. Afterward, she impeccably pulled off three roles in the drama Extraordinary You, proving her worth once again. Now with The Girl on a Bulldozer, the actress got her first lead role in a feature movie.

The Girl on a Bulldozer follows the rampage of 19-year-old girl Hye Young towards the world that won’t leave her and her brother alone after losing her father and house at once. For the role of Hye Young. Kim Hye Yoon has exploded the character’s maddening thoughts with her whole body. She even drove the real bulldozer herself for the filming.

Joining her in The Girl on a Bulldozer cast are Park Hyuk Kwon, Oh Man Seok, and Super Junior’s Yesung. It’s the directorial debut film of Park Yi Woong, who wrote the story inspired by the true story of those who drove heavy equipment right into a government office. The movie was screened in the “Korean Cinema Today �” Panorama” section of the 26th Busan International Film Festival and received favorable reviews.

Meanwhile, The Girl on a Bulldozer is slated for April release.
