Super Junior’s Eunhyuk and SeeYa’s Lee Boram are once again setting the record straight on their long-running dating rumors.
On the May 11th episode of Eunhyuk and Donghae’s YouTube channel “DNE Comment,” SeeYa members appeared as guests and reunited with Eunhyuk and fellow Super Junior member Donghae.
During the episode, Donghae brought up the rumors directly, saying, “Let’s clear this up before we move on. A lot of people are curious about Boram and Eunhyuk.”
Lee Boram immediately laughed and responded, “I’m seriously so sick of this,” while Eunhyuk added, “Wasn’t that like 20 years ago?”
The rumors first started back in 2007 after the two were spotted interacting during a concert event. Explaining what happened, Lee Boram said, “Nothing actually happened between us. It was because of him,” pointing at Eunhyuk. “We were all on stage together for something like Dream Concert, and while passing by, he tapped me on the head.”
The clip in question was later shown in the video, revealing Eunhyuk playfully tapping Lee Boram on the head before walking away.
Watching the footage, Donghae joked, “This doesn’t look like people dating. It feels more like, ‘Hey there.’”
Eunhyuk agreed, adding, “Honestly, if we were dating, I wouldn’t be able to do that.”
Lee Boram also recalled that her agency questioned her the next day about the rumors. “They asked what kind of relationship we had, and I said, ‘Nothing. We’re just friends.’ But articles still came out,” she said. “There was absolutely nothing going on.”
