[Weekly TV Top 10] Weekend Ratings Battle Begins: ‘Twenty-Five Twenty-One’ & ‘Forecasting Love and Weather’ Debut at No. 1 & 2

Drama Ranking for the 2nd Week of February

tvN’s Twenty-Five Twenty-One debuted at No. 1. Though the premiere episode received mixed reactions, viewers showed satisfying reactions after episode 2. The prevailing opinion is that it’s a refreshing drama with a summer vibe with impressive quality. Praises also poured out over Nam Joo Hyuk’s acting and appearance. JTBC’s Forecasting Love and Weather started off at No. 2. The exciting and fast-moving story became a hot topic, and the character Lee Si Woo, played by Song Kang, gained favorable responses. Many also showed satisfaction in Song Kang and Park Min Young’s chemistry. KBS’s Young Lady and Gentleman came in third. The popularity showed a dip when the show aired only once a week for two weeks because of the Olympics, and the viewers showed disappointment. JTBC’s Artificial City rose one rank and finished at No. 4. Many showed regrets over how the drama ended.

Non-Drama Ranking for the 2nd Week of February

tvN’s You Quiz on the Block took first place. The guests who appeared in the “Master in the Shadows” episode drew much attention, seeing a steep rise compared to last week. In the preview, Son Ye Jin was seen mentioning her boyfriend Hyun Bin, making headlines. MBC’s My Teenage Girl, which canceled its show this week for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, dropped to second place. Many showed disappointment over the cancellation and great interest in the final debut members. SBS’s Running Man fell to fourth place. Although the show canceled its broadcast for one week, members’ COVID-19 diagnosis became a hot topic. MBC’s I Live Alone came in fifth. Lee Joo Seung and On Joo Wan’s solo life gained attention, and SHINee’s Key and Minho appeared in the trailer, making headlines.
