Pentagon’s Yeo One will be temporarily taking a break from all his activities due to a drunk driving accident.

On January 10th, Cube Entertainment released a statement that said, “Pentagon member Yeo One will temporarily halt his activities due to a back injury. On February 9th, his car was hit by a drunk driver while he was driving home after wrapping up his scheduled activity.”

The agency added, “Yeo One immediately visited the emergency room and the doctors found no major injuries. Although he should have returned home to rest, Yeo One showed a strong desire to resume his scheduled activities and thereby attended a live recording for IDOL LIVE: Homecoming Day later that day. On his way home after filming the show, he experienced pain in his back and visited the hospital again. He has been treated accordingly and is now recovering.”

Yeo One will halt his activities to focus on his treatment. Cube Entertainment said, “To prioritize the speedy recovery of the artist, we have decided to halt Yeo One’s activities with Pentagon. Until he recovers, Pentagon will promote as a seven-member group.”

On a side note, Pentagon recently released their new album IN:VITE U and has been actively promoting their new song “Feelin’ Like.”
