How did the SOOP actors react to Choi Woo Shik‘s drawings of them?

On the 7th, Management SOOP released the “Soop Artists react to profile pictures” video that shows actors reacting to Choi Woo Shik’s drawings of them. The two actors especially caught the attention – Gong Yoo and Suzy.

Gong Yoo showed his honest reaction to the dinosaur drawing. “You have to be sorry. You drew a frog,” he exclaimed. “I didn’t forget to watch the drama Our Beloved Summer for Choi Woo Shik. And what I get in return is a dinosaur drawing? I know I look like a dinosaur. But how can he draw this after seeing (this) picture?”

He then jokingly added, “I’m going to have animosity towards you for about three months. And I won’t be watching your show anymore. You wait and see, Choi Woo Shik.”

Suzy also showed her candid reactions towards Choi Woo Shik’s drawing of her. “He kept saying that I’m pretty but drew me so strangely,” she shared. “He knows that he did a bad job drawing, so he kept saying sorry. But I’m happy that he tried to make certain features (of me) stand out.” However, she only gave it a score of 4 out of 10, giving a big laugh.

Per the staff’s sudden request, Suzy started drawing Choi Woo Shik. Even moving to a different chair to focus on drawing, Suzy gave her best effort. Later saying that it’s so hard to draw his mouth, she drew a big black box from the Parasite poster around the actors’ mouth. And yet, the final result was quite impressive. Some fans commented, “She repaid malice (?) with kindness,” and talked about the SOOP family’s close friendship.
