MBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama Tomorrow released its teaser, giving a sneak peek at the first meeting of Kim Hee Sun and Rowoon.
Set to premiere in March, Tomorrow revolves around a man named Choi Joon Woong (Rowoon), who gets into an unfortunate accident while struggling to find a job. After crossing paths with grim reapers who try to save the lives of those contemplating suicide, he joins their team in the underworld. The series will be a co-production between New Trial director Kim Tae Yoon and tvN’s Mouse showrunner Sung Chi Wook.
Kim Hee Sun plays Goo Ryun, the leader of the Crisis Management Team at the headquarters of the afterlife company called ‘Joomadeung.’ Rowoon takes on the role of Choi Joon Woong, a human in the underworld who accidentally becomes a temporary worker at ‘Joomadeung.’
In the teaser, Choi Joon Woong falls in a river by accident, and Goo Ryun jumps into the water to save him. He then asks her who she is, and she replies, “I’m the one who came here to save you.”
Tomorrow will premiere in March 2022 following MBC’s Tracer.
