K Project is a creature thriller drama about the youths whose lives revolve around survival. They’ll confront a monster born out of greed in the spring of 1945 when the darkness reached its peak. The sight of them putting their own lives at risk raises fundamental questions about human dignity and humanity. It comes from Dr. Romantic writer Kang Eun Kyung and Hot Stove League director Jung Dong Yoon.

Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee‘s meeting in the highly-anticipated drama has made headlines as soon as the news hit the wire. Park Seo Joon plays Jang Tae Sang, the wealthiest man in Bukchon and the most well-informed man in Kyungsung. Having endured all the hardships in life, he became a man that instinctively lives his life. Jang Tae Sang was all about believing what he could see rather than justice. However, after meeting Yoon Chae Ok (Han So Hee), who had led a very different life, he starts facing things he had buried deep in his heart and changes as he contemplates what “living like a human” means.

Park Seo Joon shared, “I was very interested in the historical background of Kyungsung. Then I came across this work. I’m thrilled to work with such a wonderful writer, director, and staff.”

Joining him is Han So Hee as Yoon Chae Ok, a famous Todo (someone who looks for missing people). She learned how to survive as she crossed Manchuria and Shanghai with her father from a young age. Having survived the miserable and nightmarish reality, she found her way with guns, knives, and all kinds of machines. Yoon Chae Ok comes to Kyungsung to find her mother, who went missing ten years ago, and there, she meets Jang Tae Sang. While chasing a serial murder case, she encounters a horrific truth.

Han So Hee said, “I am honored to show you a whole new side of me in K Project that is full of colorful and inexhaustible stories just like Chae Ok, who’s tough on the outside but soft on the inside. I will work hard so I can repay the great interest and expectations you showed us.”

Meanwhile, K Project will premiere in 2023.
