Ong Seong Wu and Han Hyo Joo will make cameo appearances in the upcoming Netflix original movie 20th Century Girl (literal title).
20th Century Girl is the new romance movie about the painful yet heart-fluttering first love of a 17-year-old girl in 1999. At the time, friendship came before love for her. But her romance unfolds again with the reappearance of her first love in the 21st century.
Kim Yoo Jung and Byeon Woo Seok were cast as the lead actors. The movie was introduced in Netflix’s full 2022 Korean slate lineup.
20th Century Girl is the feature debut film of director Bang Woo Ri, who won the Blue Dragon for Best Short Film with Mrs. Young.
Meanwhile, Ong Seong Wu will broaden his acting career with three movies slated for release this year: Netflix’s Seoul Vibe, Life is Beautiful, and Jung Family’s Farm. On the other hand, Han Hyo Joo gave a passionate performance in The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure, released today.
