Single’s Inferno star Ahn Ye Won shared stories behind the Netflix dating show on her YouTube channel.
Ahn Ye Won shared how she joined the Netflix original series in the video, saying, “I received a direct message on Instagram from the production. When they told me that they were going to film the show on a desert island, I was going to refuse the offer. However, they persuaded me with many brilliant ideas about what I could do on the island, including swimming and sunbathing. So I decided to join the series.”
When asked why she had picked Kim Joon Sik in the final episode, she laughed and said, “We filmed for nine days, which felt very short for me. I had no choice but to pick someone who looked the best in my eyes. So I chose Joon Sik because he was exactly my type.”
Ahn Ye Won also opened up about whether she is currently dating Kim Joon Sik or not. She said, “After the show, we returned to our daily lives. I had a lot of things to do, and I was busy figuring things out. The same happened to Joon Sik. I couldn’t meet him up after work or anything though we did meet up a few times to keep in touch. But we eventually decided to be good friends to each other.”
In addition, the star revealed that she would not star in the show if she were given a chance again. “All of the contestants said no to this question. We were pretty much locked up in a place where we had to share our emotions forcefully. It was very tiring.”
