Netflix has released a new promotional trailer previewing its upcoming Korean dramas and films for 2022 on their Youtube channel, The Swoon. The list includes JTBC’s Forecasting Love and Weather and Thirty, Nine, tvN’s Twenty-Five Twenty-One, SBS’ A Business Proposal (literal title) and MBC’s Tomorrow (literal title).
Forecasting Love and Weather �and Twenty-Five Twenty One will be released on Netflix on February 12th. Starring Park Min Young and Song Kang, the new JTBC drama is about the work and love lives of the employees at the Korea Meteorological Administration.
Set in 1998 against the backdrop of the Asian Financial Crisis in South Korea, Twenty One Twenty Five follows the lives of a �teen fencer who pursues big ambitions and �a �hardworking young man �who �seeks �to �rebuild his life.
Thirty, Nine will premiere on February 16th. The drama centers on a trio of best friends who stand together as they experience life, love and loss on the brink of turning 40. �Son Ye Jin, Jeon Mi Do, Kim Ji Hyun, Yeon Woo Jin, Lee Mu Saeng and Lee Tae Hwan will be starring in the drama.
A Business Proposal will premiere in February and take over the time slot of Our Beloved Summer. Based on a webtoon of the same name, the drama is about an office employee who goes on a blind date in her friend’s place, only to find that her date turns out to be her boss. Kim Se Jeong and Ahn Hyo Seop will play the office couple who struggle to act normal at work while confronting their sweet, thrilling and tense feelings for each other.
Tomorrow, starring Kim Hee Sun, Rowoon, Lee Soo Hyuk and Yoon Ji On, will premiere in the first half of 2022. The series is based on the webtoon of the same name, and it is about a group of grim reapers who used to escort the dead but now have to save those who want to kill themselves.
